MACKENZIE (MAC) THROWER

Owner/Operator/Instructor
Mac Thrower has been involved
in various public safety roles
since 2011. An experienced
Paramedic and Law Enforcement
Officer, he developed a unique
skill-set as a cross-trained
paramedic/police officer in the
high-acuity & high-crime
environment of Flint, Michigan.
Mac spent years as a Deputy
preceptor for the military's
Special Operations Combat Medic
program in his Paramedic role
where the department hosted
special operations medics for
clinical rotations. Currently Mac
serves as an active Public Safety
Officer for Bishop International
Airport. Mac holds instructor
certifications in TECC, ACLS,
PALS, BLS, Active Shooter
Response for Law Enforcement
and is an authorized FEMA trainer
for Hospital Emergency Response
to Mass Casualty Events.
THOMAS BEAGLE LEO/EMT-P
Instructor
Tom Beagle has been a Licensed
Paramedic since 2008, becoming a
Police Officer since 2014
responding to both high-acuity
medical and police calls in
Genesee County Michigan,
including the City of Flint. Tom is
also a certified and experienced
Firefighter. Tom has been a
preceptor for the military's Special
Operation Combat Medic program
in Flint during this time. Tom was
honored to travel to Ft. Bragg in
an exchange program to
experience the military's
infamously high-quality training
program.
SPENCER GIBSON LEO/EMT-P
Instructor
Deputy Gibson first found his
passion for EMS and medical
training when he completed the
first aid Merit badge as a Boy
Scout. He would achieve the rank
of Eagle Scout, becoming a
mentor and counselor for the
younger boys in the troop. In
January of 2020, Deputy Gibson
finished EMT school while serving
a service mission for his church.
He spent just under 2 years
working as an EMT-B in private
EMS. In August of 2021 Deputy
Gibson hired into the Genesee
County Sheriff's office as a
corrections officer. While working
full time in the jail, he also
attended and graduated from
Ascension Genesys EMS Education
Paramedic program. Deputy
Gibson graduated top of his class
from LERTA Police Academy and
has been assigned to the Genesee
County Sheriff's Office Paramedic
Division since January of 2023.
